Pretty in Pink


While pink has never been my favorite color, I do love to use it in flower arrangements around Valentine's Day. In attempts to take the classic (overdone) pink rose and make it fresh and fun, I added vibrant pink snapdragons and straw flowers in array of colors from pink to white to yellow using seeded eucalyptus as my base and texture. The key to making this pink arrangement not look like your typical cheesy Valentine's Day flower arrangement is all about creating movement and layering textures. Have the snap dragons stray off to the side. Make sure to layer the roses with the straw flowers since they are more rustic by nature and add a little bit of grit to the arrangement.

1 Stem Seeded Eucalyptus

3 Stems Pink Roses

2 Stems Snap Dragons

2 Stems Straw Flowers
