Wianno Club Ladies Golf Luncheon
The Wianno Main Dining room is one of the most beautiful rooms I have ever stepped foot in. From the hand-painted walls, to the unparalleled view of the Nantucket Sound, the dining room is stunning on its' own. When designing flower arrangements for the Ladies June Guest Day Golf Luncheon, I selected a color palette of white, yellow, and orange in order to contrast the strong blues in the room. Since I was working with a very small budget, I used groupings of bud vases, which cuts the cost of flowers significantly. I found these great vases in a metal basket at Michael's. I cut fresh peonies, and dogwood from my mother's garden adding in yellow ranunculus, yellow roses, yellow tulips, and protea for a pop of orange and texture. The result was fresh and fun!
