Fall Palette
Sunflowers are the perfect fall floral. I love the bold contrast between the dark centers and vibrant yellow petals. Sunflowers come in a variety of sizes, but I love working with the medium sized blooms. I find large sunflower heads are really hard to arrange, while too small of sunflowers do not pack enough punch. Here I paired sunflowers with yellow Roses with red tinged petals, orange Gerbera Daisies, and red Hypericum Berry for texture. For the greenery, I used Seeded Eucalyptus, which can be difficult to use. I find though that the droopy nature of the Seeded Eucalyptus is actually what makes it more beautiful.
Fall Palette Recipe
1/4 bunch Seeded Eucalyptus
3 Sunflowers
5 Roses
3 Gerbera Daisies
3 Hypericum Berry
Using clear floral tape, create a tic-tac-toe grid on the mouth of your vase.
Fill your vase with lukewarm water.
Use 1/4 bunch of Seeded Eucalyptus to green your base. Each stem can be cut into multiple pieces. Fill in the holes with one to two pieces.
Add your 3 Sunflowers to your arrangement using the central hole of the tape grid.
Strip your 5 Roses and add them in/around your vase. Remember to remove the guard petals.
Add 3 Orange Gerbera Daisies to your vase. Spin the vase to find the places that need to be filled.
Add the finishing touch to your arrangement by adding 3 Hypericum Berry.
